The Quandel Group, Inc. has been building with integrity since 1882. Our estimating department is comprised of knowledgeable team members that take pride in the accuracy of their work. Communication, organization, and documentation are the keys to our success.

Our general area of work is Eastern Pennsylvania including State College, Williamsport, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, Pottsville, Allentown, Reading, Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, and Gettysburg (particularly along Interstate 81 and Routes 11, 15, and 322), and in Southern and Central Ohio.

We have constructed a wide variety of projects including: hospitals, nursing homes, university & college buildings, high schools, elementary schools, office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, hotels, restaurants, treatment plants, and parking garages. We have specialized in successfully completing difficult projects through proper planning and meticulous execution.

Our method of contracting is split equally between public bid projects, select list private proposals, and direct Owner negotiations. We have found that Owners appreciate our straightforward approach to pricing to deliver the most efficient and economical project.

In a given year, our estimating department will bid approximately seventy-two (72) projects - about six per month. This workload allows our staff to dedicate the attention necessary to properly analyze the cost of construction. Although we are not always low, we feel confident that we are the most complete - this is evident by our low rate of change orders.
