Renovation of former bed & breakfast into student housing for students at Misericordia University, in Dallas, PA. The building was completely renovated in three months and now accommodates 30 students.
Renovations to the occupied facility included extensive upgrades to every major building system including the integration of a super efficient variable refrigerant flow (VRF) mechanical system, as well as new roof finishes.
Quandel was selected to renovate The Grant Morrow, III MD Medical Library. Nationwide Children’s Hospital medical library is a branch of The Ohio State University Health Science Library and home to 16,000 volumes of books and journals with 260 subscriptions.
Quandel was selected by OhioHealth to renovate helipads at Grant Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Marion General Hospital, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
The Dallas School District took on a huge project when it made the decision to renovate the Dallas Elementary School and build the new Gerald Wycallis Elementary School building for the rapidly growing district.
Designed to accommodate 675 students, the new Miami Trace Middle School is a centrally-located school that features a brick exterior, sloped asphalt shingled roofs, photovoltaic collectors, energy management system, and luscious landscaping.

Quandel was selected to construct multiple projects for Westerville City Schools including a new 322,000 square foot high school for grades 9-12, two new PK-5 elementary schools, and renovations and/or additions to 20 existing facilities.
Quandel was selected to construct a new, two-story, 45,000 square foot building, which functions as an addition to an existing structure that houses adult general medicine, obstetrics, women’s health, specialty visits, behavioral health services, and a dental clinic.
The 30,000 square foot health center houses a variety of medical services including women’s health, primary care, pediatrics and mental health. It also features podiatry offices, dental services, a laboratory and a pharmacy.
The 18,500 SF New Capital Park Family Health Center is a replacement facility and offers pharmacy services, dental services, behavioral services and OB/GYN health care, reducing referrals and time spent in emergency facilities by those needing routine care.
The school contains 68 classrooms and houses approximately 1,200 students in grades K-6, has five computer hookups in each of its classrooms, a computer lab, security system, air conditioning and full-size gymnasium.
Improvements were made to James Buchanan Middle School, Montgomery Elementary School and Mountain View Elementary School. Additions and renovations to each elementary school and were completed 45 days ahead of schedule.
The athletic complex includes a new gymnasium, fitness center, athletic trainers facility and field house. An indoor synthetic surface soccer field and running track were also part of the extensive renovations.
Renovations included new men’s and women’s fitness centers, a new daycare, new college dormitory spaces, and a new state-of-the-art cardiovascular center. The facility’s new addition includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool and gymnasium.
Consisting of a large concrete vehicle storage area and a maintenance/technical facility, the project required Quandel to provide complete construction services and also supervise other aspects of production.
