BOWLING GREEN – President of Quandel Ohio, Drew Vennemeyer, poses with members of our project team including Project Manager, Jamie Brundrett, and Project Engineer, Nick Schauff at the grand opening of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s newest forensic lab facility at Bowling Green State University. Quandel acted as the Construction Manager at Risk for the new building.
The state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot facility will provide laboratory and investigative services for a 22-county region including Chemistry, Evidence receiving, Firearms and toolmark examination, Forensic biology, Latent print analysis and Trace evidence analysis. Investigative services include a Crime Scene Unit, Crimes Against Children Unit, Criminal Intelligence Unit, Narcotics Unit, Special Investigation Unit and Criminal Polygraph examination. The building will also be home to the Ohio Attorney General’s Center for the Future of Forensic Science.
This project is LEED® Registered with the goal of LEED® Silver certification.
